The Radian Model 1 Upper Receiver and Hand Guard are precision CNC machined as a matching set, structurally reinforced in critical areas for improved strength and rigidity. The upper receiver is cut from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and assembled with dust cover, hand guard anti-rotation pin, light weight forward assist, and Raptor-SD Ambidextrous Charging Handle. The hand guard features Magpul® M-LOK® accessory mounting slots that attach to the barrel nut using four steel cross bolts coated in black nitride for corrosion resistance. Every surface has been precision machined and chamfered to ensure no uncomfortable, sharp edges can be found. The upper and hand guard are then sprayed with Radian Cerakote options for a perfectly matching finish. FAST™ is a series of optic mounts and platforms that provide end-users with a quicker sight picture than standard height mounts. A 2.26” optical centerline height provides faster/easier reticle acquisition while wearing electronic ear-pro/communications headsets, night vision goggles, and gas masks and allows for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting a heads-up posture. A heads-up posture also helps users maintain a neutral spine position which is more comfortable while wearing helmets, plate carriers, and other heavy gear.

The FAST™ MRO Mount features a built-in standard height windage-adjustable back up rear iron sight that keeps weapons uncluttered, without reducing capability. It also features the FAST™ offset accessory mounting interface.

Compatible with all FAST™ FTC (Flip-To-Center) Magnifier Mounts.

The FAST™ MRO Mount comes with a standard rail-grabber clamp mount but is designed to readily accept a drop-in American Defense Manufacturing® patented QD Auto-Lock™ Lever with the UNITY™ proprietary nut. (sold separately). This mounting option will provide quick detach capability.

The Talon™ ambidextrous safety selector is a modular design that can be installed as a standard 90° or as a 45° short throw by simply rotating the shaft 180° inside the lower receiver. Selector levers install using a precision machined dovetail interface with spring-loaded retention stud to lock the lever in place – no screws to come loose or break.
