The ESD pull tab has been in development and under testing for over a year. This tool is designed to help increase the consistency of your adjustments when manipulating your ESD sling or a zipper. The design builds consistency because of its unique shape and how easy it is to grip when adjusting your ESD sling. ESD Pull tab is superior over the original ITW Zipline Orbit because its shape prevents slippage between your fingers when grabbed. The ESD pull tab shape allows you to grip it in a multitude of ways so that you can utilize it in the most effective way for you. The thickness and materials chosen for the ESD pull tab will withstand large temperature changes and help maintain rigidity so that you consistently find it when manipulating your ESD sling. The ESD pull tab can attach to any existing ESD sling, it can also be used for various zippers and competitors slings helping you to focus on your job at hand.

The Edgar Sherman Design Sling, ESD Sling, was designed with purpose, research extreme testing, and experience. The ESD Sling is adaptable to the end-user. The ESD Sling is highly customizable to any rifle, sub gun, shotgun, hunting rifle, bolt action, and PDW weapon system. There are two adjustment sections on the ESD sling. A rear adjustment section to fit the ESD sling to your body size and additional gear. And a quick-adjust section to loosen or tighten the sling while in use. The ESD Sling adjustment system is more adaptable to natural body movement and body mechanics. The 1-inch width of the ESD sling has less friction than wider slings and allows the ESD sling to move across your body without resistance.

The ESD sling has an elastic regulator preventing webbing from twisting or jamming when adjusting. This system also allows the sling to be folded upon itself and stored tightly to the weapon system. This feature is great for patrol vehicle storage or bag/pack/case storage. Simply pull on the ESD Sling to deploy the sling to its full length.

The Universal Wire Loop is one of the most versatile sling attachment points made. A flexible nylon coated stainless steel wire allows for a sling attachment through eyelets, loops, slots, or any other opening that the wire fits through. The UWL™ is available in two sizes, one with a 6.25” length and one in 3.25” for different applications. The sling loop body is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet before being tumbled and bead-blasted for a non-reflective surface. The loop is hard-coat anodized before the nylon coated stainless steel aircraft-grade cable is installed with ball-shank ends. The result is a sling adapter with limitless uses. Cable outer coating may deform if subjected to extreme barrel heat but the stainless core will not melt. Universal Wire Loops are quieter and stronger than traditional hook attachments and won't wear through eyelets.

Vickers 221 Sling

While 2-point slings are ideal for most situations, there are times, like deploying from a vehicle or fighting in complex structures, when a 1-point sling has an advantage. Combining our new polymer Burnsed Socket and patented RED Swivel, the Vickers 221 Sling allows users to switch from 2-point to 1-point mode instantly by pulling on the RED Swivel knob and reinserting it into the Burnsed Socket at the rear of the receiver. The instantaneous adjustability of the sling is still maintained in both single and 2 point modes.

The Attached Hardware

The 221™ Sling fits any weapon with two QD sling swivel sockets with the rear socket towards the end of the receiver. For SCARS, Sigs, HKs, or other weapon systems with eyelets at the rear of the receiver, a Universal Wire Loop with Push Button Socket can be added instead of the included push-button socket.

The all-new Nylon Hardware version features all newly designed DuPont Zytel® nylon - which is lighter, stronger, and more flexible than traditional plastic sling hardware. The Push Button QD Sling Swivel provides a secure, quiet sling attachment point and allows slings to be quickly removed and installed on multiple weapons. The Push Button Sling Swivel can be threaded onto any Vickers Slings. The Blue Force Gear Push Button Sling Swivel was designed to be stronger and lighter than the common Push Button QD Swivels. The smaller swivel body and push button reduces weight while minimizing the chance of accidentally disengaging the swivel. A larger gauge sling loop gives increased strength and durability. The Push Button Quick Detach Sling Swivel has a matte phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and signature reduction. The Push Button Sling Swivels fit all common quick detach (QD Swivel) sockets found on some buttstocks, forends, rails, or aftermarket socket adapters. Ensure that your weapon has a QD socket to correctly attach the sling to the weapon. For attaching a Push Button Sling Swivel to railed forends without integral QD sockets, you can use the Rail Mounted Push Button Swivel Socket. For a true quick release sling swivel, see the RED Swivel - a push button swivel that is installed and removed by pulling on the emergency release knob. Contrary to push belief, the common QD swivel is not an emergency release point as the "push then pull" motion is a fine motor skill and can be difficult with gloves or in stressful situations. *** Place a small drop of oil or gun lube down the push button channel every time you clean your weapon to ensure smooth operation and protect the internals from corrosion *** Choosing between 1" and 1.25" loops: 1" Swivels can be used on any Vickers Sling that has 1.25" webbing.
